Dutch are big on internet shopping
Some 56% of the total Dutch population shop online, mainly for travel, holidays and books, according to new figures from the national statistics office CBS.
Internet shopping is only marginally more popular in Britain and Denmark, the CBS says.
Over the past five years, the popularity of internet shopping has risen by 20 percentage points.
