Police have arrested another six men for suspected involvement in riots protesting against coronavirus measures in the Malieveld in The Hague in June, reports Omroep West.

A group calling itself Viruswaanzin (virus lunacy) had organised a demonstration on June 21, and went ahead even though it was forbidden by the local mayor. Riots and violence between demonstrators and police followed and the police arrested 425 people that Sunday – 11 of whom face charges.

Police released photos of another eight suspects, six of whom have now reportedly been arrested.
