Armed robbers flee with cash after carrying out raid on casino

Armed robbers have raided a casino in Apeldoorn, making off with an unknown quantity of cash.

Police said several people wearing balaclavas burst into the Flash Casino on Arnhemseweg at 1am on Tuesday.

The raiders fled along Talingweg, spilling cash and coins as they went. A knife was also recovered from the side street.

Nobody was hurt in the raid. Police have appealed for local home and business owners in the area to share security camera footage.
