One of the directors of Dutch festival organiser United Dance Company, which organises the Dance Valley event, has been arrested in Madrid on suspicion of rape.

Brian B. has confirmed that he was arrested in May but denies raping the woman, who published her story on Instagram on Tuesday.

The woman, 52, claims to have been raped by B. in April after an evening out on the town.  She went to the police that night and B. was arrested at a hotel where he was staying with his wife and baby at 3am, the Telegraaf reported.

She says he was released from custody a couple of weeks ago pending the trial and she has gone public with her story now because he is no longer in jail. ‘He is a free man who could now hurt other women,’ she said.

B. said in a statement that he had been arrested and released after both sides of the story had been told. ‘I denied and I still deny this woman’s accusations,’ he said, adding that he was fully confident about the court cases.
