Thursday and Friday will be sunny and dry across the Netherlands, but temperatures won’t rise past 10° and could drop close to freezing overnight, according to the KNMI forecast issued at 6am on Thursday.

The national weather institute KNMI said Thursday afternoon would bring plenty of sunshine, with a high of around 10°. Wind from the east will make it feel colder.

Thursday night will stay dry. Temperatures will fall to near freezing in the east, and stay at about 6° on the Wadden islands. Fog is possible in the far southwest.

Friday will be sunny and dry again. Highs will range from 8° in the far north to 12° in the southeast. Clouds will build in the southwest late in the afternoon.

Saturday may start with fog, mainly in the south and southwest, and some frost is possible inland, the KNMI said.
