Psychiatric patient who disappeared from clinic found and arrested
A 43-year-old man who did not return to a psychiatric clinic after unaccompanied ‘leave’ last weekend has been discovered and arrested, report the police.
Peter M, who was sentenced to a year in the clinic for abusive behaviour and making false bomb alerts, was considered a danger to himself and others without his medication.
On Wednesday night his photo was released, and early on Thursday afternoon, he was recognised at Breda train station, arrested, and returned to the clinic in Den Dolder.
The man reportedly suffers from psychoses and schizophrenia.
