Luxury motor boat deaths caused by carbon-monoxide poisoning
The three men found dead on a luxury motor boat last Sunday died from carbon-monoxide poisoning, police said on Tuesday.
The three men were found dead in the boat moored on a canal just outside the village of Wateringen. Police said at the time they were not treating the deaths as suspicious but it was unclear what exactly happened.
The three men were two brothers aged 26 and 30 from Leidschendam-Voorburg and a 20-year-old from Zoetermeer.
A post-mortem examination showed that all three had fatal levels of carbon-monoxide in their bodies.
