Information provider Wolters Kluwer boosts first half turnover

The company, which provides information to doctors, tax specialists and accountants, saw revenue climb to €1.74bn. Net profit rose from €9m in the 2011 first half to €124m.
Excluding takeovers, sales fell in Europe and the company expects the second half to be similarly difficult. In particular, results in the legal market were pressured, the company said.
