Unibail-Rodamco buys interest in German shopping centres
Dutch-French property group Unibail-Rodamco is buying an interest in German shopping centres for €383m, the company announced on Thursday.
The company is taking a 51% interest in MFI AG, holding company of a number of German shopping centres, and is buying half of Ruhr-Park, one of the largest shopping centres in Germany.
The property involved has a total value of €1.5bn and an order book that will increase this by around €530m.
Unibail-Rodamco is paying in two terms: €316m when the transaction is finalised and €67m on June 30 2014.
