PwC Netherlands and Germany ‘plan to merge’
The German and Dutch arms of the PricewaterhouseCoopers network plan to merge, Reuters said on Monday, quoting the head of PwC Germany in WirtschaftsWoche magazine.
‘The global PwC network comprises independent companies, but we want to grow into one global firm,’ Norbert Winkeljohann is quoted as saying. The move would allow the new unit to to better compete with KPMG, Ernst & Young and Deloitte, Reuters said.
PwC Germany is almost twice as big as the Dutch arm in terms of staffing.
