No loot for money transport raiders

The gang who blasted their way into the offices of a money transport company in Nieuwegein on Thursday morning by using explosives to blow off a door did not get away with any cash, according to media reports on Friday.

The men drove off in two cars and managed to evade capture, despite road blocks and helicopter surveillance.
A police spokesman told news agency ANP that ‘loot or no loot’ the incident was still an armed robbery and the investigation is in full swing.
