Explosives found in dead boy’s home
Police have found explosives in the parental home of a 17-year-old boy found dead on a roadside in the Drenthe village of Nieuweroord, local broadcaster RTV Drenthe reports.
The youth was possibly killed by explosives or fireworks, the broadcaster said, without giving further details. His body was found around 03.00 hours on Monday morning.
The explosives at the boy’s home are being cleared by defence ministry experts and neighbours have been moved to a nearby community centre until the clean-up has been completed.
