TV antiques show makes record find
The television antiques show Tussen Kunst en Kitsch has unearthed its most valuable find yet – a 17th century painting with a value of €250,000.
The painting of a lace maker is by Joost van Geel, a pupil of the 17th century master Gabriël Metsu. Its owner inherited the piece.
The show’s previous record find was a brooch by Lalique, later sold for €120,000.
