Schoolgirl suspended for school bomb threat on Twitter
The teenage girl who used the micro blogging service Twitter to tell contacts she planned to blow up her school has been suspended pending the outcome of a public prosecution department investigation.
The 17-year-old, in the pre-university stream of her school in Soest, was arrested on Wednesday and kept overnight in a cell, despite what critics say is the ironic nature of her tweets. She was released on Thursday afternoon.
