The Netherlands ambassador to Iran is returning to Tehran, less than two weeks after being recalled following the execution of Dutch Iranian woman Zahra Bahrami.

‘We have given a clear signal,’ foreign minister Uri Rosenthal was quoted as saying by news agency ANP. ‘I have discussed the next steps with the ambassador. It is now time for him to go back to his post and to resume his work for the Dutch and Dutch interests in Iran.’
