Bas Martens says his client, who is 2.07 metres tall and weights 230 kg, is in constant pain because his bed is too small and toilet too low. This violates his human rights, Martens told a court earlier this week.
His client, Angelo M, is serving an 18 month sentence for financial fraud. The court will rule on the application on February 8.
