Teen who insulted Jews gets community service in Anne Frank house

An 18-year-old from Utrecht has been given 16 hours community service in the Anne Frank house for insulting Jews.

Omar E gave an interview to the website GeenStijl in which he said Jews should be exterminated.
His lawyer had said the case should not have come to court because of the negative publicity it had brought Omar E.
But the court ruled he had brought it on himself by giving the interview.
The Anne Frank house, where the young diarist lived in hiding during World War II, focuses on fighting anti-semitism and discrimination.
