A 57-year-old man whose body was found behind a C1000 supermarket on Tuesday night appears to have stabbed himself by mistake, the Telegraaf reports.

The man was apparently planning to look for food in a rubbish bin at the back of the supermarket and had taken a sharp kitchen knife with him. But as he crawled under a fence, he accidentally injured himself so seriously that he died of his wounds.
Police have used security camera footage to reconstruct the incident, the Telegraaf says.
