Dutch companies dominate top ten share list
ING Research on Thursday published a list of its preferred shares in the Benelux for 2011. Of the ten companies listed, eight are Dutch.
Among them are paints and speciality chemicals group Akzo Nobel, considered attractive because of its poor performance in 2010, and electronics giant Philips, which is about to finalise its transformation process.
Post and parcels company TNT makes the list, despite the recent problems with strikes over pay and conditions. According to ING Research, TNT has significant upwards potential because of takeover speculation.
