Car thefts rise for first time in 10 years
The number of car thefts in the Netherlands rose for the first time in 10 years last year, according to new figures on car crime.
In 2010, 11,733 cars were stolen, up 706 on 2009. The Audi A3 and A6, Mercedes C class cars, the BMW 5 and Volkswagen Touran are the favourites with car thieves, the car crime monitor said.
