Leo Beenhakker is poised to announce he is standing down as Feyenoord’s technical director at the end of the current football season, Nos tv reports.

Beenhakker, 68, came to the Rotterdam club in February 2009 along with coach Mario Been in an effort to propel Feyenoord back to the top.
But the club has been beset by financial problems, has no money to buy new players and is currently 13th in the premier league.
