The last of three pelicans to escape from a wildlife park during a flying display this summer has been recaptured.

According to news agency ANP, Groenerick was found in a shed on a farm in Groningen and had a ‘wound’. He was taken away by vets.
Groenerick had resisted several attempts to catch him and at one point officals planned to use his fellow escapees Blauwerick and Roderick as bait.
