Foreign minister distances government from Wilders’ Jordan line
Foreign minister Uri Rosenthal has distanced himself from comments made by PVV leader Geert Wilders about Palestine and Jordan, news agency ANP reports.
In a speech in Tel Aviv at the weekend, Wilders said Palestinian refugees should have the right to resettle in Jordan and ‘the truth is that Jordan is Palestine’.
Rosenthal told MPs during a debate he had made it clear to the Jordanian government the government does not share this position.
