DSM forms joint venture with Chinese firm
Chemicals group DSM has signed a joint venture with Chinese firm Sinochem to develop a global anti-infectives group, the Heerlen-based company said in a statement on Friday.
The deal still needs to be approved by the relevant authorities and DSM’s works council has been asked for its recommendations as well.
Under the terms of the deal, Sinochem will take a 50% equity interest in DSM Anti-Infectives for € 210m in cash. The joint venture will have its headquarters in Hong Kong.
