Although there have been a number of ‘worrying developments’ in terms of terrorist threats in the Netherlands over the past few months, the official threat level remains ‘limited’ justice minister Ivo Opstelten has told MPs.

More negative developments could lead to an increase in the official threat level, Opstelten said. The briefing note did not give details of recent events, which have given cause for concern.
