800,000 of us plan a winter break
The Dutch tourist board expects 800,000 people to go on holiday during the Christmas break, which begins on Friday.
More than half will holiday in the Netherlands and Germany tops the foreign destination list, the tourist board said.
Both Christmas and New Year fall on weekends this year.
