The public prosecution department failed to tell the director of a village school in Noord-Holland that his deputy was under investigation for child pornography, the Telegraaf reports on Friday.


The man, who has now been suspended, continued to work at the school for eight months after the investigation began. The man is facing eight months in jail for possessing 190 photographs of children. No pupils were involved, the department said.
