The EU has told the Netherlands to repay almost €29m in agricultural subsidies which it was given between 2003 and 2008.


The Commission wants the money back because it says the Dutch authorities did not carry out proper checks on how it was spent.
In total the Commission is clawing back €578.5 in farm subsidies.
