Dutch embassy escapes parcel bomb
A parcel bomb addressed to the Dutch embassy in the Athens was intercepted on Monday at a postal company in the Greek capital, the foreign affairs ministry has confirmed
The bomb was found following the discovery of a parcel bomb addressed to the Mexican embassy, which exploded injuring a female member of the postal company’s staff, report several newspapers.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the bombs, one of whom wore a bullet-proof vest and carried a gun.
One of the suspects has links with an ultra-left terrorist group, according to the Greek newspaper Kathimerini.
