There is a 75% chance that this winter will be very cold, like the previous one when there was snow on the ground for almost two months, the AD reports on Tuesday, quoting weather bureau Meteo Consult.

Like last year, a number of high pressure areas which should be around the equator have moved far to the north and will bring cold easterly winds, the weather forecaster is quoted as saying.
