Bijenkorf department stores bought by Canadians
A Canadian family firm is buying the Bijenkorf department store chain from the Maxeda group for €290m, the Financieele Dagblad said on Tuesday.
Wittington Investments owns a number of prestigious retail chains, including Selfridges in Britain.
Maxeda earlier sold the V&D chain to US investment group Sun Capital Partners.
