Amateur side Sparta Nijkerk puts Excelsior out of cup
Amateur side Sparta Nijkerk put first division club Excelsior out of the KNVB Cup on Tuesday night to reach the round of 16.
The amateurs beat the Rotterdammers, who were relegated from the premier division after one season, 2-1.
Elsewhere, league leaders Twente had a difficult match against first division leader Zwolle, but finally won through on penalties.
NAC of Breda beat fellow premier league side Heerenveen 0-2.
