Health insurer cannot publish hospital list, says court

Judges in Breda have banned health insurance group CZ from going public with a list of six hospitals it will no longer send patients to for breast cancer operations.

The Dutch hospitals association went to court to have the insurer silenced, saying its rankings are based on misleading information and are damaging to hospitals, patients and staff.
But CZ can go head with publication in some form after it has given hospitals the right of reply, the judges said.
