Jan Bennick, the boss of food group Numico when it was taken over by Danone, is to join the board of Coca Cola Enterprises.


‘His experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, along with his expertise in consumer marketing, will be invaluable to our board of directors and our company,’ said CEO John Brock.
The 2007 takeover of Numico generated €90m for Bennick. The ensuing uproar led the then finance minister Wouter Bos to take action to curb executive bonuses and takeover premiums.
