Aegon, ING fall into line over bonuses
Senior managers at ING and Aegon’s insurance arms will be covered by the financial services sector code of conduct on bonuses after all, following pressure from parliament, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Friday.
Earlier this month, it emerged the two companies do not want to adopt the 100% of salary ceiling on bonuses for top staff who work abroad because this will make them uncompetitive.
The banking code of conduct is voluntary.
