There will be a lot of snow or rain this winter because of La Nina, weather bureau MeteoVista/Weeronline said on the Telegraaf website on Wednesday.

Meteorologists are forecasting one of two scenarios: a winter with normal temperatures and a lot of snow or a mild winter with a lot of rain, the paper said.
The forecasts are based on the likely outcomes of the clash between the El Nina and El Nino phenomena, which will lead to changes in the atmosphere and ocean circulation.
