The unidentified body of a Farc guerilla is not that of Dutch woman Tanja Nijmeijer, Colombia radio station Caracol announced on Wednesday.

Three days ago, Colombian authorities asked the Netherlands for Nijmeijer’s finger prints and dental records when one of the guerillas killed in a raid on a Farc camp remained unidentified.
On the basis of the finger prints and dental records, the Colombian authorities have confirmed the remains are not those of Nijmeijer.
Nijmeijer, who graduated in Spanish from Groningen University in 2002, was last heard of in 2007 when her diaries were found after government troops attacked a rebel camp.
