Reward money for tip-offs seldom paid out
The justice ministry has paid just four rewards for information leading to the capture of criminals, despite offering rewards 102 times since 2007.
In 2007, two people were paid out a total of €35,000, and in 2009 two people were given a total €10,000, the Volkskrant reports on Thursday.
In total, the ministry has promised over €1m in reward money since 2007.
