Last Elfstedentocht winner quits skating
Marathon skater Henk Angenent, the winner of the last Elfstedentocht 200 km race in 1997, has retired from competitive skating.
Angenent (41) bowed out after taking silver in the Dutch artificial ice marathon at the Thialf rink in Heerenveen at the weekend.
