Dutch Nato and UN ambassador swap jobs

The Netherlands ambassadors to Nato and the United Nations are swapping jobs, the NRC reported on Monday.

Herman Schaper, currently the Netherlands permanent Nato representative in Brussels is to head up the Dutch UN mission in New York from the summer, the paper says.
And Frank Majoor, permanent representative to the UN, will take over at the Nato delegation in Brussels.
The paper says the job swap is part of a number of new diplomatic appointments. In total, 33 new ambassadors have been appointed, of whom five are women. That means 25 of the Netherlands 125 ambassadors are female, the paper says.
