Hiddink, Rijkaard tipped for Chelsea job
Dutchmen Guus Hiddink and Frank Rijkaard are among those tipped to become the new manager of Chelsea football club following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari on Monday.
Hiddink, who currently coaches the Russian national team, is believed to be interested in the job but only if he could combine it with getting the Russians to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, according to media reports.
The Telegraaf reports that the chances that Rijkaard, currently on a ‘sabbatical’ after losing his job as manager of Barcelona, would accept would be greater if the starting date is after the current season.
