Foreigners buy up luxury goods
Russians and Chinese were the biggest spenders in the Netherlands last year, according to an analysis of value added tax refunds made by Global Refund.
While the Chinese spent most, spending by Russians was up 30% on 2006, Global Refund said. Clothes, make-up, watches and jewellery were the most popular buys.
