Countryside popular with town dwellers
Some 30% of people who live in towns would like to move to the country, attracted by peace and quiet, open spaces and nature, the government’s social policy think-tank SCP says in a new report.
The organisation says city dwellers have a ‘rather romanticised’ view of country living.
