Philips announces US takeover
Philips is to take over the US information technology firm Visicu for €290m, the Dutch electronics concern announced on Tuesday morning.
Visicu which operates in the American healthcare sector booked a $36m turnover last year and employs 100 people.
Visicu is the second US healthcare technoloffirm Philips has take over this month. In early December it announced the acquistioin of Emergin.
