Chilly weather is set to return to the Netherlands this weekend, with night frosts and plenty of sunshine from Saturday onwards, the KNMI weather bureau said.

There may be some light rain on Saturday but on Sunday it will be dry and sunny, with temperatures dipping several degrees below freezing point at night. During the day it will be around 5 to 8 Celsius in most places.

The KNMI’s long-range forecast is for more of the same well into the first week of March, although the chance of rain increases towards the middle of the second week.
