A group of 46 people, including eight interpreters, have been evacuated from Kabul by plane and flown to Pakistan, broadcaster NOS said on Tuesday.
The group, which includes family members of people who worked for the Dutch in Afghanistan, will be brought to the Netherlands at a later date, the foreign affairs ministry has confirmed.
Some people have made their way to Pakistan under their own steam and will be brought to the Netherlands, while several Dutch passport holders have been evacuated via Qatar, NOS said.
The news of the evacuation flight comes just a day after acting foreign affairs minister Ben Knapen said the Netherlands still aims to bring around 2,000 people out of Afghanistan.
