Man shot dead in a car park in Houten

A man shot dead in Houten on Thursday evening has been named by the AD as Rob van Eijk.

Police said that at 11pm various reports came in that a 55-year-old man had been shot in a car park and was discovered dead when they arrived.

The AD claimed that the man was a café owner with criminal connections.

A suspect has not been identified and police are investigating.
