Sunny midweek, but wetter and windier weather from Friday

The Netherlands will see a few dry and sunny days midweek before more cloud, rain and stronger winds arrive from Friday, according to weather bureau Weeronline.
Tuesday will begin unsettled in the north with some showers and cloud, but elsewhere early mist will lift to give a mix of sunshine and cloud. By the afternoon it should be largely dry across the country, with light winds and temperatures between 16° and 18°.
Wednesday is set to be one of the most pleasant days of the week, with light winds and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will again range from around 16° on the Wadden Islands and north coast to 18° inland.
Thursday looks slightly cooler but still dry and bright, offering one last spell of calm autumn weather.
From Friday, a change is expected as winds strengthen and shift to the southwest. Cloud will increase during the day, with rain or drizzle likely in the west by the afternoon. Temperatures will be lower, at around 13° to 16°.
The weekend will remain unsettled with showers and strong coastal winds, which could reach force six at times. The arrival of storm system Humberto over the Atlantic may also add to the blustery conditions in northern Europe later in the week, though the impact on the Netherlands is still uncertain.
