Serial sex attacker jailed for four years for rape, sex assaults

A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to four years in prison and compulsory psychiatric treatment (tbs) for three rapes, four sexual assaults and indecent acts with a girl.
Hicham A approached women in public places such as stations and supermarkets, asked for their contact details and arranged to meet them in a café or cinema, where he made them pay for him.
He then took the women to the toilets and forced them into sexual acts. In many cases, he also demanded his victims transfer money to his bank account. His victims were aged between 14 and 24.
“In every case it is clear that the man did not accept ‘no’,” the court said, adding that his direct approach showed a clear purpose and disregard for the women’s feelings.
A denied the rape charges but did admit to taking money from women and described himself as “a bastard” for doing so, local broadcaster AT5 reported.
The crimes took place between 2021 and 2024. Although he was still a minor during part of this period, the court ruled that youth sentencing was not appropriate, citing his “ruthless persistence” in repeatedly targeting new victims.
He must also pay more than €35,000 in damages to the victims as well as refund the money they handed over during their meetings.
