The Dutch weather will be less turbulent this week, with frequent sunny spells, the occasional shower, a moderate breeze and temperatures slightly down on the September average.

On Monday, there will be sunshine in much of the country, with most of the showers falling in the north and coastal areas. Temperatures will reach between 15° and 17°, some two degrees cooler than normal for the time of year, according to Weeronline’s weekly weather forecast.

Tuesday and  Wednesday show much the same pattern, but there will be fewer showers except in Zuid-Limburg which will get most of the much-needed rain. Temperatures remain around the 17° mark.

Friday will see sunshine and cloud but hardly any rain will fall. A southerly wind will boost temperatures to 18°at the weekend, but will also increase the chances of showers.
